After doing his due diligence and meeting with New Orleans superstar Anthony Davis, Pelicans Executive Vice President David Griffin is mulling over deals for the disgruntled Davis.
There have been rumors floating around that the current Pelicans brass really liked the trade offer made mid season by the Lakers. The trade never happened, but the core package the Lakers offered — Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, and Kyle Kuzma, plus draft picks, and now with one of those picks being the 4th pick in the draft, the Lakers offer might be the best one on the table.
Has the deal been sweetened enough to land “AD”? Or will the Pelicans go back to the drawing board to seek another deal?
Off the Court Davis has been increasing his star power, recently appearing in NBA Finals promotions for the new Men In Black: International film released this summer.
What do you think if the deal on the table for the Pelicans? If you were a GM, what deal would you propose to land a star of Davis’ caliber? Let us know in the Comments.
